Getting the most from your Virtual Tours

 

One of the most valuable tools that comes with each Virtual Tour is the weekly Traffic Report.  By examining the stats each week you can gain insight into the behavior of potential buyers.  Each time, we'll highlight one or two of the helpful stats and how you can use them to improve the traffic to your listing or even get a difficult sellers to reduce the price when needed.

 

Still Photos Stats

 

Today I want to mention one of our clients, Terry Schwab, who contacted me this week because he noticed buyers were being turned off by the design of the home featured.  It's a beautiful rehab, but the exterior is a little different.  Terry texted me and asked to have the front image moved to the back of the tour.  Terry's right, if potential buyers go through the entire tour, they may be willing to overlook the exterior for all of the gorgeous updates in the home.  Good catch, Terry!

 

 

Update Your Tour Report

 

Get the real time update for your Virtual Tour by clicking on the 'Update' button located just under your contact information on the Tour Report.  Click it and you'll go to the online view of your Traffic Report.  You can view an updated report at any time!  You'll notice the online view is a little different from the email version and gives you a bit more information.  Right at the top, I'm often asked what the difference is between direct views and referral views.  Direct Views are those where a viewer clicked on a direct link to the tour.  Referral Views are viewers who were directed by a search site like the MLS, Zillow, Trulia, etc.  This reflects viewers who searched for this type of property and liked it enough to watch the Virtual Tour.  Great information for you and your sellers.
